He almost passes right by, his attention fixed on the eye-catching Ozdust boutique. Wicked, on the other hand, is very unassuming in its rustic style. Already Peter likes it.
When he steps inside, the smell of rich wood and leather is the first thing that greets him, then Daniel who looks ready to set a heavy leather boot on his back and tell him he's been bad.
"Hey," he greets with his usual relaxed grin, leaving his thoughts at the door.
Daniel looks up at the chime of the door and smiles when he sees Peter. Still as silver and foxy as before, though hopefully considerably more sober."Come in, come in. Take a look around if you like - you're looking for gloves, yes?"
"Yeah, I was hoping for medical-grade, but I think I need to lower my expectations with the Fae," Peter explains as he idly walks from the entrance and places a big hand on a dark leather chair that could double as a throne.
"Actually, they have surprising amounts of access to medical-grade supplies when it's for sex." He'll come out from behind the counter, beckoning him along to a shelf that's stocked with various barriers - condoms, dental dams, and several weights of gloves in various materials. "You never know when you're gonna need a rubber glove. If you want something less disposable, I've got some long latex gloves over in the apparel section."
He tilts his head. "You're planning on going flower picking?"
"More or less," Peter answers with an embarrassed laugh. It's a rather simplified explanation, but no less true. "So, the more disposable, the better. Just want some samples of my own, that's all."
"Well, when you get dosed... feel free to come to me for help. Unless it's the tanglethorn, I won't be much good to you with that one." Daniel doesn't sub. Ever. Most people on tanglethorn find that frustrating.
He'll glance down to take a look at Peter's hands. "Would you prefer large or extra-large."
Huh. Peter doesn't expect an offer like that so quickly, but then again, most of the men he's met here have been at this much longer. Maybe it becomes little more than a favor, like helping someone move.
"Really? Well, I'll put you on speed dial then before I go out." And make note to steer clear of tanglethorn until he has someone under ICD—In Case of Domination.
"Hey, you're the retailer," he shoots back with a small smile. "You tell me." He raises them higher, palms up. They're a little rough with calluses, a few nicks here and there from his job.
