"Not the sort of communication you're used to?" Daniel adjusted to the tomes pretty quickly - it's been years since he had a smartphone, but it's not that different from Facetime. Even if you have to use a pen to write your texts.
He gestures around. "Welcome to Wicked. We've got something for everyone, even if they don't know it yet." The shop is laid out with the clothes and shoes to one side and the sex toys on the other with the middle being taken up by some larger dungeon furniture and some of the fancier toys. "You can take a look around if you want, or just get straight to the clothes."
"Well, we got techmagery, but I've always preferred face-to-face. Our gods usually use telepathy for quick messages, though." Zack looks a little sheepish. He always feels weird when he's being viewed through some bit of tech or other.
Venturing further in, Zack likes the place at once. A good healthy attitude to sex and sexual play is encouraged back home. It's a little reassuring that this seems to be the case here. The wraith notices the toys and moves across to them. "Dying for something decent to wear, if I'm honest, but I always notice..." He picks up a rather beautifully shaped glass buttplug. "...Sex play don't change much from world to world. Toys're always familiar."
"Techmagery and telepathic gods? Your world sounds interesting." Not that Daniel likes the idea of a god being able to talk in his head. If they could talk they could look, and the privacy in his own head was sometimes all the privacy Daniel had.
Daniel chuckles a bit as he picks up the butt plug. One of his favourites, which is why he put it on display. "I suppose what feels good up your arse in one world isn't going to change much in the next." It's nice to see someone so comfortable with sexuality - a lot of new arrivals can be so skittish, which is charming in its own way, but variety is the spice of life and it's nice not to feel like you're trying to sit very still and convince wild birds to eat out of your hand when you talk about sex. "There are a couple of stores in town. Hysterium is the other Favoured-owned shop, but it's less specialized. More general sex toys, less kink."
"Interesting and complicated." It's always a bit of a handful explaining Keldra. And that's once people have gotten past the idea that their gods rule openly, and are not tucked away on top of a mountain or something. "Being the Prime Concubine to three of them gods is nearly as interesting," Zack adds. He's not bragging, just giving Daniel an idea of his background. It explains why he's so comfortable in this environment.

Zack nods as Daniel mentions Hysterium, paying attention. He's moving around the furniture, gently testing this or that strap, and pressing this or that padded section. Much of the kink he's used to goes beyond physical apparatus, often, but the wraith knows what feels good, or would please his owners. "Vanilla's nice enough, but... Wait, the favoured? Is that what they call us?"
"Prime Concubine? That's quite the title. So your gods must be around quite a bit, then." He's gotten more comfortable with the idea of real gods and their varying levels of presence in people's lives. It was something that took some adjustment - if he ever believed in a god himself, he lost that faith a long time before religion was officially forbidden on his world.
"I'm fond of glass myself. Can't say I've tried solid gold for anyone, but it does seem like it would be too heavy." Daniel used to have a pretty extensive selection of toys and he's been building it back up, but it didn't stretch quite that far."
He stays where he is, leaning against a sturdy bondage frame and watching Zack move around the shop. He doesn't feel the need to hover or explain - he can tell the newcomer knows what he's doing and what he might like. "That's the official term. Because they did us such a favour when they scooped us up, I suppose." Daniel's voice is dry, verging on sardonic. He's never been thrilled by their golden cage.
"They never saw why they should keep out of the way, you know? And m'not saying Keldra's perfect, but they're doing a good job of things." Zack gives Daniel a wry grin. "Could be biased, though."
"Just one of the dumb things visiting dignitaries think will flatter their hosts." There's a raft of odd and exotic toys in the seraglio stores.
Zack would back Daniel to the hilt on that one. "Pricks," he mutters, briefly inspecting one of the gentler floggers that are on display, before returning to the human's side. "Really nice place. I mean really. I been to different worlds, and it's not easy to find merchandise as good as this." He'll be back. Lots of times. "If it's okay, I could really do with getting out of this autumnal shit, now."
Daniel's smile is just as wry. "Well, it's not the worst form of government I've heard of." It sounds like Zack might be biased, yeah, but maybe things really are all right. Daniel doesn't trust gods or anyone else setting themselves up as an ultimate authority, but coming right out with that isn't a good way to make friends with people who do.
He can't help a crack of laughter. "If your world's idea of an appropriate diplomatic gift is a golden butt plug, I absolutely want to be involved in your politics." It sounds like much more fun.
He smiled. "Thank you. I try to get quality goods, and unfortunately, I have to admit the elves' leather work is beautiful." He tilts his head towards a counter at the back of the shop with 'Custom Leather Orders' on the sign over it. The blond elf standing behind it makes a rude gesture at him, which he returns. "But yes, the purpose of the visit. C'mon."
He leads the way over to the clothing section. "So you said... black, buckles, zips, chains? I think we should be able to find something you'll like." And indeed, the vast majority of the clothes here features at least one of those qualities.
When Daniel laughs, Zack can't help doing the same. It's more involved than that, but basically, "Yeah. A lot of shit gets lost in cultural translation. How the Tzars kept straight faces, I'll never know."
He will just blink at the gesture Daniel and the elf make at each other. Banter, mostly likely? It reminds him of a couple of people back home. "Uh. Sweet. Fae-made gear's valued on my world too."
Following, Zack is happy to start browsing the rails. "Please. Anything like that. Does your world have what's known as 'punk'?" Zack will be paying attention to the price tags. He doesn't want to take advantage of Daniel's generosity by picking out the most expensive items. "Bondage jeans? Designer-shredded teeshirts?"
"The Tzars?" He's familiar with the term from his world, but he expects it meant something quite different to Zack. Maybe an oddity of whatever magic the fae use to translate everyone.
The gesture between Daniel and the elf was less banter and more barely-disguised hostilities. Daniel wasn't very happy with having two fairies right in his shop every day, but they'd come with the store and he hadn't been able to get rid of them, even by thanking them repeatedly (though that had turned his milk sour). "If it's the same quality, I can see why."
"Absolutely. My own tastes run towards goth, but we've got plenty of punk." He flicked through the racks himself, pulling out a couple of pairs of bondage jeans with varying amounts of straps and chains. "Do you know what size you are?"
"Twin gods. Well, kinda twins, that gets complicated. Divine rulers." Maybe he should write something out in his tome, to try and make all the complexities of Keldra that bit less...difficult.
"Mine do too. Don't mind a bit of goth, or cyberpunk." Zack gives Daniel a wry little half grin. "Know what I like when I see it. S'pose you know how that goes with customers."
Not sure what size he is in this world, Zack is slightly stumped. "I'm M3 at home. No idea of the sizing here... slim-medium?" The jeans Daniel pulls out look about right though.
"Ahh. Some of the gods you've got?" Yeah, Daniel feels like it's complicated enough that he could use a guidebook.
"Look as much as you like. And don't worry about price, it's as much for my benefit as it is for yours." He's noticed Zach looking at the price tags.
"Well, we'll try a couple of sizes and you can choose the fit you like." He continued pulling things off the rack, occasionally stopping to show something to Zack.
This might well become a thing, especially as Lucas was so interested in the gods. "that's them, yeah."
Zack does colour a little at the mention of price, but he nods shyly and accepts the items that Daniel pulls off the rack. He likes a lot of this stuff, and isn't sure if he's just picking out one pair of jeans and one tee, or if he'll have a change of clothing... that seems to be a little cheeky though, so the wraith will be happy with whatever he's given.
"Tight is usually good," he can't help grinning. "S'there a changing room?"
